Fun Facts regarding "Ride On Shooting Star" (5/12/11 - 5/13/11):

* This song is the ending theme for the anime "FLCL" ("Fooly Cooly").

* As of this writing, this is a rewrite of a simfile I'd previously released;
  the difficulty has gone up slightly (not a whole lot, but enough to warrant
  uprating each difficulty +1); the charts are better-written in my opinion -
  especially the Expert charts (the old one's handplants were biased very
  heavily toward using your left hand; I think there was only one right hand
  in the entire song).

* The song's ending BPM has been redone. There was a gradual slowdown in the
  old simfile - and it was *wrong* to boot. (Nobody ever got a Fantastic on
  that last arrow, right? I never did.) It's been corrected to one slowdown
  for each of the last two notes, and the timing of the final note is now
  spot-on.

* No, I don't know what happened to the lyric file; somehow, between my
  computer switches between the original charting and this writing, I no
  longer have it anywhere on my computer (and I keep a LOT of backups).

* I've re-included the video. It's nice quality (as opposed to the crappy
  one I originally had), though for some strange reason it cuts out early
  (where the original did not); I double-checked the backup of the .flv I'd
  downloaded before converting it to an .avi, and it has the same problem.
  Since the full video is difficult to come by in decent quality, I instead
  elected to do what I do with all videos that loop if they come up short: I
  stuck a cross-fade to the last good frame in so it at least looks natural.

* I have not forgotten the features that made the old Expert chart enjoyable;
  nearly all of them have returned, either as originally charted or with a
  new take on things (some of the handplants have returned and are no longer
  side-biased, and the important hold-and-alternate sections are back as well).

* The new Expert chart features more 16ths and more jumps (which is why that
  particular chart was uprated).

* The new Hard chart features 8th stream, as well as more jumps (which makes
  it an 8 over the old 7-foot chart).

* The Medium chart is slightly more tricky now; I figured I could, since many
  anime fans are intimately familiar with the song's melody. That made it a 6.

* The Easy and Novice charts don't have any new tricks, per se; they're just
  slightly denser.

* This simfile has been given a new banner (not originally for the rewrite:
  I just wanted a nicer banner for it, but then I decided on the rewrite less
  than a week later, so the timing is fitting).
